Some people are more comfortable when lessons are given one-on-one. We are happy to offer private lessons on the bike. We'll discuss, practice and review whatever skill you would like. If you are interested in long-term coaching for cycling or multisport, we have that service available as well.
Does this sound familiar?
You walk into a bike shop; there are dozens and dozens of bikes. The salesperson asks if you need help. You say that you're thinking about getting into cycling so you want to find a bike that doesn't cost a lot of money. After all, you're not sure if you're going to "stick with this" or not.
The salesperson takes you to a rack of bikes, visually sizes you up and down, pulls a bike off the rack and says, "Here. This is what you need." You like the color and it's in your price range, so you buy it.
A few months later you realize that you do like cycling and you are "sticking with it." You realize you bought a bike that just won't do what you want to do now (go faster!), so you go shopping for another bike.
We see this all the time. It's not your fault; most people don't know what to look for when buying a bike. After all, there are so many brands, models, sizes and prices that it's easy to be intimidated.
Let us take the guesswork out of buying your next bike. We'll accompany you to the store, explain what to look for and why, review nomenclature of the bicycle and find one that meets your needs for your goals. Plus we'll make sure that your next purchase will last a long time, no matter what your training goal is. Because we're not affiliated with any one store, we offer an unbiased approach to a bike purchase. We are so glad that the Dallas-Fort Worth area has many bike shops to choose from. Let's go shopping!
